All Roads Do Indeed lead to Blazing Saddles

Have you ever had one of those conversations at lunch that seems to return to the exact place it began, kind of like dejavue over dijon mustard? Lunch today started with a quote from 'Blazing Saddles' then covered a variety of topics from the Vietnam War, Women in General, Classic Cars, archane references to "The Naked Ape', 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', '1984', and 'Heavy Metal' magazines from the 70's. As well as general topics such as Management and its detrimental effects on common workers, Fiber Optic Cables, Women, the speed of light and if it has any relations to any of the other subjects above. ...finally just as time was running out...another refernce to 'Blazing Saddles' whic then resulted in coming up with the words to 'Tired', schnitzelgruben, and Hedley Lamar. Which left us all in a better mood to go back to work. ...so you see, the entirety of the worlds roads do indeed lead to 'Blazing Saddles' and we intend to prove it over the coming weeks/months/years by relating common occurances back to the movie and specific routines contained there.
So as I mosy off into a Friday before Easter afternoon, I quietly whistle the theme of 'Tired' and promise to update this blog on a seriously occasional basis with help from my various and sundry cohorts.
